Praia da Marinha, Algarve, Portugal

IMG_0372.JPG

It has been awhile since I penned my last post, no real reason why other than sometimes it just happens, I forget to blog, have “bloggers block” I guess?!

We have just returned from a short trip to Portugal and an extremely hot 9 days it was too. Temps rarely going much lower than 30 degrees Celcius, the nights about 26. One day we even witnessed the mercury peaking at 40!

So most walks were taken before 8am in the morning!

One of our favourite places is Praia da Marinha which is not far from Carvoeiro in the Algarve region and a stunning location with plenty of cliff-top paths to enjoy. It comprises of one main beach and it’s neighbour (shown in the above photo) is only accessible via boat. So come midday and early afternoon, this tranquil scene is disturbed by far too many pink humans enjoying far too much Super Bock!!!
