Purbeck here we go. Our first choice camp site was full, so we took a recce around Corfe and found a great site called “Woodlands” and with pitches going spare. We took a quick trip to swanage to get some provisions. After a lovely campsite dinner I took a scramble up to the ridge that is behind us that leads to Knowle Hill in the west and Corfe Castle to the east. Photos are something of a failure sadly, the light is fading fast but to make up for it I have a wonderful encounter with a badger, only a few feet away. Overnight a fierce storm brews and scares the wotsits out of us (I am a storm-phobic). The morning is a gorgeous day if a little fresher.
